Mens Drop In

After high demand, RPCC Men’s Thursday Night Tennis is back!

Last year we saw a huge jump in Men’s Night participation.

We are expecting the same draw this year, with hopefully some new additions.

If you’re new to the club and enjoy hanging with some like-minded men for some tennis and post beverage/world problem solving stuff – come on out.

We play from 7pm to 1am, I mean 7 pm to 11 pm. Arrive and leave at will.

We will send out an email the day of to get a feel on the numbers.

We play doubles, rotating partners every 30 minutes. We do keep track of the scores to determine the end of season winner.

The winner gets nothing, and I can’t remember who won last year.

Assuming the courts get completed and the Covid restrictions are lifted, we plan to start Thursday June 3rd.

Hope to see everyone out again this year, along with some new faces.

Pickelball

Weekly Drop-In Schedule

TUESDAY 7:00 PM – 9;00 PM

THURSDAY 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

SUNDAY 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Pickleball is increasingly becoming a popular sport for all ages and skill levels. It started in the southern U.S., migrated northwards and into Canada. It has now become the fastest growing sport in North America.

Relatively new to RPCC, Pickleball is gaining interest as an alternative to tennis. When our new court surfaces are completed we will have four Pickleball courts available for play.

Covid has put us in a hold pattern but when things return to normal it is our intention to conduct an open house to introduce Pickleball to all who are interested in playing. At that time we will provide information regarding the court layout, explain the game rules and engage in some court practice and play.

Members who started playing Pickleball last year have grown to love the game and the new friendships they have made. For those who already know the game we encourage you to join the drop-in sessions.

Please watch for the details of the 2021 Pickleball “Open House” coming soon.
